TKBOX Cookie Policy

This Policy explains how the TKBOX website uses cookies, browser local storage, and related network technologies. It is separate from stream records and scene data stored locally by the TKBOX Windows app.

Current status: no advertising or visitor-analytics cookies

The website does not use cookies for cross-site tracking, ad targeting, or visitor profiling.

1. What cookies and local storage are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store, often for sessions, preferences, or analytics. Local Storage is another browser mechanism that normally keeps site data until you clear it.

The TKBOX website is a public static site. It does not require sign-in and does not depend on cookies for browsing or downloading.

If local storage is disabled, the website's main content and download link still work. The notice may appear again on a later visit.

3. Release checks and network logs

The website requests the latest Windows release manifest from oss.tkbox.live and uses it to build the installer link. The request may include IP address, request time, browser or device type, referrer, and response status. TKBOX and Alibaba Cloud OSS/CDN infrastructure use this data for delivery, security, and troubleshooting.

These requests do not rely on advertising cookies and are not used by this website for cross-site tracking. If you follow the registration link or another external link, the destination may use cookies under its own policy.

4. Local data in the Windows app

The TKBOX Windows app stores sign-in state, stream records, viewer names and avatars, scenes, media, preferences, and logs on the device. This is desktop-app data, not a website cookie. See the Privacy Policy for categories, purposes, and deletion options.

5. How to manage or clear site data

Open your browser's privacy, cookies, or site-data settings, find tkbox.live, and delete its data. The notice will appear again after deletion. Menu names vary by browser and version.

6. Future changes

If we introduce visitor analytics, personalization, or other non-essential storage, we will update this Policy first and provide any notice, choice, or consent required by law. We will not treat continued browsing alone as consent to non-essential tracking where affirmative consent is required.
